By accessing or using mentalhealthdirectory.com.au (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Mental Health Directory is an online directory that lists mental health practitioners who have met our verification requirements. We do not:

• Employ or contract the practitioners listed
• Guarantee the availability, quality, or suitability of any practitioner
• Facilitate or take responsibility for appointments or treatment
• Provide clinical advice or act as a healthcare provider

Your relationship is directly with the practitioner you choose to contact. We are not a party to that relationship.

As a consumer using the Site to search for practitioners, you may:

• Search for and view practitioner profiles
• Send enquiries to practitioners via the Site

You must not:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to scrape, copy, or systematically extract practitioner data
• Submit false, misleading, or abusive enquiries to practitioners
• Use the Site in a way that could harm other users or practitioners

Eligibility

Practitioners listed on the Site must be appropriately qualified, hold current registration or membership with a recognised professional body (where applicable), and comply with all applicable laws and professional standards.

Accuracy

Practitioners are responsible for ensuring their profile information is accurate, complete, and up to date. Mental Health Directory reserves the right to remove or suspend any profile that contains false or misleading information.

Verification

We verify practitioner credentials before profiles go live. Verification is not a guarantee of clinical quality or suitability. We may re-verify credentials periodically and suspend profiles where registration has lapsed or been cancelled.

Subscriptions

Practitioner subscriptions are billed in advance. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

All content on the Site (excluding practitioner-submitted content) is owned by or licensed to Mental Health Directory. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

By submitting a profile, photo, or other content to the Site, practitioners grant Mental Health Directory a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the Site and in related marketing materials.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mental Health Directory provides the Site “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular practitioner will be available or suitable for your needs.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those rights, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Site is limited to AU$100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, whichever is greater.

The Site may link to third-party websites (including practitioner websites). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of third-party sites. Links do not constitute an endorsement.

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be notified to registered practitioners by email.
